Chapter 851: Strength Creates Miracles
“What… what’s going on?”
Sun Li asked, completely baffled.
Although this sword was incredibly powerful, there was no way it couldn’t be pulled out, right?
With his strength, he had almost used his full force, yet it still wouldn’t budge?
“Elder, don’t panic. After all, this is a sword that defies logic. It can even block the Black Domain, so it’s normal that ordinary methods wouldn’t work to pull it out,” someone nearby couldn’t help but console him.
“That’s true,” Sun Li nodded.
He glanced around, feeling a bit uneasy, afraid that the white-clothed lunatic from earlier might return and cause trouble again.
To avoid further complications, he wanted to pull out the sword and leave as quickly as possible.
“Come, everyone, channel your energy and lend me a hand,” Sun Li shouted.
Hearing this, everyone began to focus their energy. Streams of powerful force converged like fountains, surging toward Sun Li.
Sun Li suddenly felt filled with strength.
Once again, he gripped the hilt of the sword with both hands.
“Hah!”
With a loud roar, Sun Li, with the help of the others’ energy combined with his own, unleashed all his power.
“Crack!”
The ground split open, and the longsword was pulled out.
But what left Sun Li and the others in utter disbelief was that not only was the sword pulled out, but so was a skeleton.
“How… how did a skeleton get pulled out too?” someone exclaimed in shock.
The others were equally stunned. None of them had expected the sword to be embedded in someone’s body.
What puzzled them even more was that with the amount of force they had just used, the sword should have separated from the skeleton, yet it had brought the corpse along with it.
It seemed as if the sword was firmly bound to this skeleton.
“This person must have been a great figure when they were alive,” someone couldn’t help but speculate.
“That’s likely the case!” another person chimed in. “A sword like this wouldn’t be used to kill just anyone!”
“Hmm.”
Sun Li nodded seriously, agreeing with the assessment. Then, stroking his chin, he added, “However, the position where the sword was stabbed is quite puzzling.”
“Yeah, I was going to mention that too. Why was it stabbed in the buttocks? It should have been in a vital area, right?”
“Could it be that this person’s weak point was in their buttocks?”
“Who in the world has such a bizarre weak spot? On the buttocks, no less?”
“You never know. Maybe this person practiced some unconventional technique or wanted to deceive their opponent by placing their weak spot there on purpose.”
“Enough, enough, stop arguing.”
Sun Li’s face showed impatience as he shouted, “Let’s just pull the sword out and leave.”
“But it looks like the sword is embedded in the skeleton. It’s not easy to pull out,” someone pointed out.
“If we can’t pull it out, then we’ll just dismantle the skeleton,” Sun Li said impatiently. “It’s just some old, dead bones. How much effort could it possibly take?”
As he spoke, Sun Li moved his hand beside him.
A massive energy ball formed instantly in his palm. He glanced at the skeleton and prepared to hurl it.
“Elder, this was once the body of a formidable expert. Isn’t this a bit… disrespectful?”
At the critical moment, someone stepped forward to intervene, voicing their concerns. “After all, this was someone killed by a divine sword. Shouldn’t we show some respect? Destroying their remains after death is just too tragic, isn’t it?”
“What does it matter to me what happens to their body after death?”
“Dead is dead. There’s no need to make such a fuss.”
“Trying to pull it out slowly? Screw that.”
“Strength creates miracles. Just blast it apart, take the sword, and let’s go.”
Sun Li let out a cold snort and aimed the energy attack in his hand directly at the skeleton on the ground, releasing it with full force.
