Chapter 802: Let’s Go Together
This was a massive graveyard.
In the past, a great sect war had taken place here, leaving countless bones scattered across the land. Yi Feng saw countless Mundo Beasts gathered here, their heads lowered as they gnawed on bones dug up from the soil. Their numbers far exceeded the Crawlers in Floating Corpse Valley.
Yi Feng couldn’t help but grin from ear to ear.
It was as if he was seeing endless experience points waving at him.
With his sword in hand, he charged straight in.
Hearing the commotion, countless Mundo Beasts rushed toward Yi Feng.
Swing the sword.
Swing again...
Ding, ding, ding, ding...
The system’s notifications rang incessantly in his mind, quickly sending Yi Feng into a state of frenzy.
Amazing!
This feels incredible!
Yi Feng slashed through the monsters with unparalleled satisfaction, thoroughly enjoying himself.
By the end of the night, he had killed over thirty thousand Mundo Beasts, leveling up by one and a half levels.
Exhausted, Yi Feng dragged himself back to Shadow Island.
After eating, drinking, and getting a good night’s sleep, he took a bath.
Looking at himself in the mirror, he felt a sudden surge of confidence.
So handsome!
When night fell again, Yi Feng headed to the gathering place of the Mundo Beasts—the Chaotic Graveyard.
Of course, "Chaotic Graveyard" was another name Yi Feng had come up with.
He even drew a map for himself:
Home — Shadow Island.
Floating Corpse Valley — Crawlers.
Chaotic Graveyard — Mundo Beasts.
Yi Feng made these annotations to make it easier for himself to find monsters in the future.
That night, he slaughtered another thirty thousand Mundo Beasts.
Meanwhile, on the Earth Spirit Continent, the battle was still raging.
Under the leadership of the Demon-Slaying Alliance, the alliance’s experts and the ancestors of various first-class sects joined forces, engaging in wave after wave of battles against the bloated-limbed demon.
Yet, they still couldn’t find a way to deal with it.
"Elder Zhen, what are we going to do if this continues?"
Xiong Tian, who had initially stayed behind to guard the alliance, had no choice but to come and reinforce them. Supporting the still-injured Elder Zhen, his expression was grim.
"In the face of absolute power, all traps and strategies are meaningless," Elder Zhen said, leaning on his cane, his face filled with helplessness.
If it were just this one demon, the entire Nine Realms working together might eventually wear it down.
But the problem was that no one knew how many unknown demons were hidden within the four fallen lands.
Of course, that wasn’t the most despairing part.
The most despairing thing was that while they had temporarily halted the spread of the black mist from the four fallen lands, it was only a temporary solution.
Think about it.
Even the boundary walls left by the Eight Great Sovereigns who created the Eight Realms couldn’t stop the black mist. How could their generation, with their highest cultivation barely reaching the 30th level of True Immortal, hope to prevent its spread?
"Report!"
At that moment, a man responsible for guarding the Spirit Realm flew over in a panic.
Seeing this, Elder Zhen’s heart sank, and a bad premonition arose.
Sure enough, before he could even ask, the man shouted with a voice infused with immortal energy, "Reporting to the Alliance Leader, there’s a huge commotion in the Spirit Realm. It seems like something is about to break out!"
"What?"
Elder Zhen’s heart skipped a beat, and he immediately issued an order.
"Let’s go. We need to check this out right away."
The Earth Spirit Continent was adjacent to the Spirit Realm, so the distance wasn’t far.
The Level 40 True Immortal demon that had been wreaking havoc on the Earth Spirit Continent had also emerged from the Spirit Realm.
Thus, the alliance members quickly arrived at the edge of the Spirit Realm.
As soon as they reached the border, Elder Zhen and the others could clearly feel that the man’s report was accurate.
They could sense a massive disturbance within the Spirit Realm, moving rapidly toward them.
Though they couldn’t see what it was, the sheer magnitude of the disturbance was enough to send chills down their spines.
The group stood in silence, their faces dark and grim.
They couldn’t help but wonder: What could it be?
Some unknown force?
Or perhaps... another demon?
If it was a demon, what level of power would it possess to create such a commotion?
In the brief moments they waited, the disturbance grew closer and closer...
Drip...
Sweat began to drip from many of their foreheads.
Elder Zhen tightened his grip on his cane, his frail body surging with immortal energy.
Boom!
A deafening roar echoed, and the crowd felt a wave of numbness.
A colossal entity burst out of the Spirit Realm, appearing in the sky and casting a massive shadow over the ground.
The alliance members on the ground looked up in shock.
What emerged from the Spirit Realm wasn’t a demon or some mysterious force—it was a massive spirit ship.
The ship was bronze in color, covered in intricate carvings and runes. Its design, both in shape and detail, was flawless. Along its sides were dark holes, glowing faintly, as if ready to unleash devastating attacks at any moment.
"How... how is this possible?" Xiong Tian stammered, his face filled with shock. "The Spirit Realm is a fallen land shrouded in black mist. How could a spirit ship emerge from it?"
Elder Zhen opened his mouth, his aged face equally astonished. Even with his vast knowledge, he had no explanation.
"Look! There are people on the deck!" Chen Xian pointed toward the ship.
Everyone looked up and saw a group of young men and women standing on the bow of the ship, seemingly gazing down at the world below.
At that moment, the bloated-limbed demon that had given the alliance so much trouble appeared beneath the ship. Perhaps drawn by the commotion, it had come to investigate.
The demon’s appearance caught the attention of the people on the ship.
One of them, a young man in white robes, took a step forward, his movements seemingly shrinking the distance as he descended from the sky.
He looked at the demon with disdain, then raised a finger.
A beam of light shot out, piercing through the demon in an instant.
Elder Zhen and the others watched in horror as the demon, which had brought the entire Nine Realms to its knees, was killed with a single finger.
"What...?"
Elder Zhen and the others were dumbfounded, their scalps tingling.
What they had just witnessed defied all logic.
To kill a Level 40 True Immortal with a single finger—this was something they had never even dared to imagine.
Who were these people?
Why were they so powerful?
As they stood in shock, they felt an immense spiritual sense emanating from the young man.
His gaze then settled on Elder Zhen and the others.
"I am Bai Jun. May I ask who among you is in charge? Please come aboard the ship for a discussion," the young man said before turning and walking back to the ship.
"Elder Zhen, what do they want? Should we go?" Xiong Tian asked.
After a moment of thought, Elder Zhen nodded silently.
"Elder Zhen, please reconsider," Chen Xian urged. "What if it’s a trap? What if they mean you harm?"
"If they wanted to harm us, do you think they’d need to go through all this trouble?" Elder Zhen replied, his brow furrowed. At this moment, he had far too many questions in his mind.
"Elder Zhen, let me accompany you," Xiong Tian said.
"No, let Chen Xian and I go with you," Huang Zhen interjected. "If anything happens, Xiong Tian, you’ll need to hold the fort for the alliance."
However, as they debated, a voice suddenly echoed in their ears.
"Come together, all of you."
