The guard's stern questioning silenced the entire scene.

The leader, especially conspicuous, was clad in black, exuding an aura of solemnity and authority. Even with just a glance around, the onlookers were so intimidated that they quickly averted their gazes and stepped back.

Only Yi Feng stepped forward without hesitation and responded loudly, "It was me!"

His voice rang out decisively, leaving everyone stunned.

The Starfall Ancient Ark had strict rules: private conflicts were absolutely forbidden. Even if disputes occasionally arose, they were always resolved by the law enforcement team, turning major issues into minor ones and minor ones into nothing.

But today, someone actually stepped forward and admitted to causing trouble. This was truly unprecedented!

Was he brave and responsible, or simply ignorant of the consequences?

The crowd exchanged uneasy glances, and the atmosphere grew even more tense.

The captain of the law enforcement team glanced at Yi Feng, his expression unreadable. Then, he looked down at the fat man struggling in the water below.

"Send a few men to rescue him and bring him up for questioning," the captain ordered.

As soon as he spoke, several guards flew toward the sea.

In no time, the drenched swindler was hauled back onto the ark.

Before the captain could even ask a question, the swindler pointed an accusing finger at Yi Feng, his face filled with indignation as he roared and wept, his acting so convincing it seemed almost natural.

"Bold fool! How dare you defy the strict laws of the ark?!" he shouted. "My life is worthless, and drowning in the sea would be no great loss. But by breaking the ark's rules, you've not only thrown me into the sea but also disrespected the authority of the esteemed officials aboard this ark! If such a reckless person is allowed to remain on the Starfall Ancient Ark, everyone will live in fear, and the ark's reputation will be ruined! Captain, I implore you to expel this man, or the public's anger will not be quelled!"

His accusations were delivered with such emotion and flair that it was hard not to believe him. The swindler's performance was so convincing that he seemed like the true victim, a stark contrast to his earlier arrogance.

To an uninformed observer, it would seem as though he were the one who had been wronged.

But most of the people aboard the ark were no ordinary individuals. Watching the scene unfold, few dared to speak out.

The law enforcement captain, the center of attention, calmly observed the swindler's performance, his expression thoughtful. Clearly, he wasn't quick to believe the swindler's one-sided story.

Yi Feng, on the other hand, remained completely unfazed. No matter how much the swindler tried to smear him, he stayed calm, even feeling a hint of anticipation.

Seeing that no one was reacting, the swindler continued to shout, "Captain, you must uphold justice! I have no prior connection with this man, yet he treated me so cruelly. This is a direct challenge to the authority of the ark!"

With just a few words, the swindler had equated himself with the ark, making the situation seem irreparable.

The captain frowned slightly, and the tension in the air grew thicker.

At that moment, Yi Feng stepped forward again, his hand raised, and delivered three sharp slaps to the swindler's face!

The crisp sound of the blows echoed through the air, and the swindler's face immediately swelled up like a pig's head.

The crowd stared in shock, as if they had seen a ghost.

Before anyone could react, the familiar *splash* sounded again as the fat man was sent flying back into the sea!

It all happened so suddenly...

The onlookers gasped in unison, no longer able to remain calm.

Instantly, heated discussions erupted, and a wave of astonishment spread across the ark.

"Holy crap..."

"I thought what he did earlier was bold enough, but this is on another level. Who is this guy?!"

"He's really young and reckless!"

"This guy must be new here. He's in big trouble now!"

"It's over for him!"

"He actually did this right in front of the law enforcement team!"

The situation escalated quickly, and more and more people gathered to see what was happening.

Amidst the pointing and murmuring, Yi Feng maintained a calm expression, but inside, his anticipation grew. Beating up the swindler felt satisfying, and with things escalating to this point, surely he would face severe punishment now, right? With both witnesses and evidence, wouldn't he be doomed?

He discreetly glanced at the captain, whose face had indeed darkened.

Without even asking any further questions, the captain waved his hand and coldly stared at Yi Feng.

Moments later, the swollen-faced swindler was hauled back onto the ark, tears streaming down his face.

The captain finally turned his cold gaze to Yi Feng.

"I don't care what grievances you have, but attacking someone repeatedly on the ark is a violation of our strict laws. You are no longer qualified to remain aboard. Leave the ark at once!"

His stern voice echoed, and the crowd gasped in shock.

The onlookers, who had been silent, now looked at Yi Feng with pity, their earlier sympathy for the swindler completely shifting to him.

But Yi Feng was disappointed, standing there frozen in confusion.

What the hell?

Wasn't he supposed to be facing certain death? Why was he just being kicked off the ark?

Maybe he hadn't hit the swindler hard enough. Should he have slapped him a few more times or maybe even broken his jaw?

Seeing Yi Feng's dazed expression, the crowd's pity deepened.

The swindler, however, wore a triumphant smile, suddenly looking much more spirited.

He first clasped his hands and bowed to the captain. "Captain, your wisdom and fairness are unmatched! I am deeply impressed by the ark's strict and impartial laws!"

Then, he turned to Yi Feng, his eyes filled with smug satisfaction as he taunted, "Hmph... Now you're scared, huh? Too late! Brat, the ark has already entered the deep sea, where countless monstrous creatures and chaotic spatial currents await. Even if you have the strength of a celestial being, venturing into the sea alone is a death sentence! This is the price for defying the ark's authority! In your next life, remember to be more cautious!"

Only then did Yi Feng realize why everyone looked so terrified and why the fat man was gloating so shamelessly.

So, being kicked off the ark was this dangerous?

If he had known earlier, why would he have even boarded the ark in the first place?

What a wasted opportunity!

Not bothering to spare the swollen-faced swindler another glance, Yi Feng turned and leaped off the ark!

"This guy is really decisive!"

"What choice does he have? It's better to jump off himself than to be thrown off."

His resolute action shocked the crowd, and hundreds of people rushed to the railings to watch.

Only the swindler laughed, his fat cheeks jiggling as his voice grew even more piercing.

The commotion drew attention from all directions, and heated discussions filled the ark.

At the top level of the ark, there were only a few private rooms, reserved for the most distinguished guests.

In one of the luxurious rooms, filled with rare treasures and even the windowsills inlaid with immortal jade, a master and servant observed the entire scene.

Watching Yi Feng leap off the ark, the maid couldn't help but sigh with regret.

"Ah! This man dared to take responsibility and didn't hesitate to strike his enemy even in front of the law enforcement team. He seemed like a passionate and brave man. What a pity that he didn't know when to stop and escalated things to this point. Isn't this just asking for death?"
