Chapter 1204: Small Fry
"Skeleton?"
The Third Prince was momentarily stunned.
The figure that appeared was far from the image of a powerful being he had imagined. It was just a skeleton, standing quietly in mid-air, wearing skinny jeans and bean shoes. The more he looked, the stranger it seemed.
As the cloaks were lifted one by one, even more bizarre creatures came into view.
A dog with its arms crossed.
A centipede rubbing its hundred legs.
And a ghost-like thing floating around in mid-air.
What the hell...
The supposedly formidable beings, the terrifying creatures that even the giant bear revered, turned out to be this bunch of things?
This is just ridiculous!
The Third Prince and his generals stared at each other, utterly confused.
While the fishmen were dumbfounded, Lou Benwei's gaze never even acknowledged their existence. Even with tens of thousands of troops floating on the sea, his hollow eye sockets, with a faint smile, were fixed solely on the massive figure of the Milk Giant in front of him.
Beside him, Ao Qing was also marveling.
"Brother, I didn't expect Milk to be so tough now. He took a punch from you and still seems fine. He's got something going on."
Lou Benwei nodded elegantly, one hand resting on his chin.
"Not bad, not bad."
"Little Milk, you've improved quite a bit. Stand still, let this scoundrel try another punch. This time, I'll use just a bit more strength. Let's see if you can still handle it."
As soon as he finished speaking, the towering Milk Giant broke into a cold sweat, and the sea below was drenched in a torrential downpour!
"No, no!"
"Brother, I was wrong!"
"I'm just bloated, how could I possibly take your punch? That was just a fluke, please spare me..."
"Cut the crap!"
Lou Benwei remained unmoved.
"You just took a punch and you're still standing fine! Let this scoundrel try again and see how much of my strength you can really handle!"
"Don't worry, I know my limits. I'll just use a tiny bit more force!"
Hearing this, Milk scratched the back of his head, a glimmer of wisdom flashing in his eyes.
"Well, I guess you're right..."
"Brother, you wouldn't really kill me, so let's give it another try."
With a muffled voice, Milk's massive body obediently took a step closer.
Lou Benwei slowly raised his right hand.
The white bone joints were somewhat dazzling in the air, yet they seemed so insignificant compared to the giant figure before him. From a distance, they were no more than a fallen leaf beneath a towering tree.
But as that punch was thrown—
A deafening boom shook the heavens and the earth!
"Boom!!!"
The towering giant bear was sent flying as if struck by an unimaginable force. If that punch had landed elsewhere, it would have been enough to split the sky and crack the earth!
The sea erupted into chaos once more, far more terrifying than any tsunami or earthquake!
The shockwaves that followed were akin to an apocalyptic disaster!
The Third Prince and his generals gritted their teeth, standing firm in the storm, but they couldn't help but feel a sense of helplessness. The sheer power of that punch left them chilled to the bone!
By the time the storm subsided and a rainbow arched across the sea, the Third Prince's hair was disheveled, and his face was as dark as thunder.
On the sea's surface, more corpses of the Sky Dragon Mermaid Clan floated, far more numerous than before. Nearly two-thirds of them had perished, and out of the original 100,000 troops, less than 30,000 remained!
"Crack!"
The Third Prince clenched his fists so tightly that his heart bled!
These 100,000 troops were his entire trump card, a force cultivated over tens of thousands of years. To lose more than half of them in an instant nearly made him vomit blood!
Forget about seeking revenge later—losing this much of his capital, how could he ever compete for the throne in the future?
If it had just been once, fine...
Given the overwhelming strength of the opponent, he could have written it off as an accident, swallowed his anger, and moved on.
But now, the same thing had happened again, and the Dragon Clan had suffered even greater losses.
What the hell!
Who could tolerate this!?
The Third Prince angrily raised his head!
And what he saw was those bizarre creatures showing no remorse whatsoever. Instead, they were chatting and laughing, completely disregarding him!
Instantly, Ao Lie's mind was thrown into chaos!
Even if the opponent was strong, such arrogance was simply too much!
Ao Lie was so furious that his hair stood on end, and he pointed to the sky, cursing at the top of his lungs!
"Bastards!"
"Who the hell are you people, daring to attack my Sky Dragon Mermaid Clan so brazenly in the East Sea? You have no respect for the law!"
"If you don't give me an explanation, the millions of warriors of the Sky Dragon Mermaid Clan will never let this go!"
His furious voice echoed across the sea.
Ao Qing finally noticed the numerous fishmen on the sea's surface.
Tens of thousands of them, all looking as if they had a deep-seated grudge, with their leader putting on airs, seemingly ready to pick a fight.
He didn't pay much attention to their posturing, but seeing the leader's aggrieved expression, he couldn't help but feel curious.
"Brother."
"What did we do to make them act like they're about to die?"
Lou Benwei glanced down coldly.
"Hmph."
Patting Ao Qing's dog head, he looked down with disdain.
"Qing, don't bother with these small fry."
As soon as he finished speaking, the Third Prince's face turned red with rage!
"Small fry?!"
"Outrageous! Outrageous!"
"I am a noble prince of the Sky Dragon Mermaid Clan, bearing the blood of a true dragon! Don't think that just because you have some strength, you can be so disrespectful..."
Before his rage could fully erupt, Lou Benwei glanced down with cold eyes, filled with disdain.
"You damn salted fish, are you done yapping?!"
"I said you're a small fry, so you're a small fry."
As soon as he spoke, he casually pointed a finger.
The Third Prince, whose face was red with anger, suddenly found himself bound by an invisible force, unable to move at all. His body began to tremble and swell, and in the blink of an eye, he had turned into a fleshy ball!
"Boom!"
With a loud explosion, his clothes tore apart in mid-air.
The once tall and slender figure was no more.
All that remained was a salted fish falling into the sea, resembling a catfish with its disgusting whiskers, fat-headed and utterly ugly!
Even as it fell into the sea, the salted fish kept flailing about, looking both ridiculous and repulsive. But no matter how much it struggled, it remained a catfish, never regaining its former handsome form.
Witnessing this sudden transformation, the fishmen generals were trembling, and the remaining troops were in complete disarray!
"What the..."
"What just happened? How did His Highness turn into a salted fish? This is just too ugly!"
"Black magic! It must be black magic!"
"How could a prince of the Sky Dragon Mermaid Clan, so valiant and heroic, turn into a salted fish!"
"Quick! Report this to the Dragon Emperor immediately and take the Third Prince back to the palace!"
In a flurry of panic, the fishmen generals, their eyes filled with terror, scooped up the catfish and scattered like birds and beasts, not even daring to look back at Lou Benwei. In an instant, they all dove into the depths of the sea.
As for their grand mission of conquering the islands, it was long forgotten.
In just a few moments, the sea returned to calm, with only the corpses of fishmen floating on the surface, being torn apart by terrifying sea beasts, as if it were some kind of feeding frenzy.
If anyone had been watching, they would have been utterly shocked!
Lou Benwei didn't even bother to glance at the scene.
Turning back, he looked at Milk, who was steadily picking himself up, and his eyes showed even more appreciation.
"Not bad."
"Little Milk, your physique is something else. You can already handle one-tenth of my strength. You've got a bright future ahead!"
Receiving his brother's praise, Milk scratched his head sheepishly.
"R-really...?"
"Brother, you must have gone easy on me, right? If I can withstand even one percent of your strength, I'll have no regrets in this bear life!"
The group burst into laughter, greatly pleased with Milk's progress.
After taking the opportunity to praise Lou Benwei's prowess, Ao Qing finally noticed the mess on the sea and thoughtfully brought up the topic, offering to help his brother out.
"Brother."
"These small fry have no sense at all. They'll probably come back to cause trouble later. How about I go and take care of them now, so they don't keep being a nuisance!"
